About Our Recipes

Here are a few notes and explanations about the recipes on this blog.

All of the recipes are written for the TM31.  However, I don’t see why they couldn’t be used with the TM5.  Unfortunately, I don’t get a chance to use some of the new features that come with the TM5, so if you have a TM5, feel free to share your tips and hints with your fellow TM5 owners.

Every effort has been made to make these recipes as accurate as possible. However, as I’m testing them as part of my weekly cooking, there is a chance that something might be wrong.  The recipes do get re-tested the next time I cook them, so check back for updates.

Also, I’d love to hear how you go with the recipes – was the sauce too runny for you? or was there too much for the bowl?  Any feedback would be appreciated and I’ll happily look to tweak the recipe in the following week or two.

Weights and Measures

All weights and measures are Australian ones – as a quick guide:
1 teaspoon = 5ml
1 tablespoon = 4 teaspoons = 20ml
1 cup = 250ml

Servings

Servings are mostly based on the amount of uncooked meat or protein in the recipe.  For lunches, I aim for 100-150g per person and for dinner, I use 150-200g.  I also aim for 2 servings of vegetables per person and 2 to 3 different vegetables per meal.
