Grilled for a healthier alternative, this recipe uses the Thermomix to make a sauce that will have you licking your fingers after!
- 14 whole chicken wings or 28 drumsticks and winglets
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 cloves garlic
- 6 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Separate wings into drumsticks and winglets
Heat the oil on a grill pan at medium-high heat and grill the wings for 15-20 minutes; turning halfway through (see Notes)
In the meantime, in the Thermomix, add garlic into the bowl and chop for 5 seconds | Speed 7
Add honey and soy sauce to the bowl and heat with the measuring cup (MC) half off for 10 minutes | 90C | Speed 3
Put wings in a mixing bowl, pour sauce on top and mix together
- The wings may have to be cooked in batches - or use multiple pans.
- Wings can also be cooked on the BBQ.
