This caramel sauce uses honey instead of sugar to make it slightly healthier than the traditional alternatives. You can serve this sauce on top of flourless date muffins to turn them into sticky date puddings. It’s also yummy as a topping for ice cream.
Caramel Sauce
Ingredients
- 150 g butter cut into 2cm cubes
- 220 g honey
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Put all of the ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and cook with the measuring cup (MC) on for 7 minutes | 80C | Speed 4
