Dumplings have got to be right up there on my list of favourite foods. I’m not talking about the scone-like dough ones that you often find in soups and stews. I’m talking about the ones with delicious fillings covered in a flour or rice-based wrapper.
Dumplings can be intimidating – fiddly to make and also time consuming. This recipe tries to simplify this. The filling is made in the Thermomix bowl and then the dumplings are steamed in the Varoma and served with a simple dipping sauce. The result is lovely soft pillows of prawn goodness!

- ~38 wonton wrappers
Sauce
